Hunt-Hess Scale

Criteria

I

Asymptomatic, or minimal headache, nuchal rigidity

II

Moderate to severe headache, no neurologic deficit except for cranial nerve palsy

III

Drowsiness, confusion, mild focal deficit

IV

Stupor, moderate to severe hemiparesis, early decerebrate posturing

V

Deep coma, decerebrate posturing, moribound
